First Reconciliation (or First Confession) Preparing children for the Sacrament of Reconciliation allows us to show them that God is love and that in mercy He is always ready to forgive, no matter what the wrong. It assures them that God already knows the secrets of our hearts, but sometimes we need to name these aloud in order to prepare our hearts to renew the experience of God's love and forgiveness. God's will is that all people will be reconciled with one another and with God. What an extraordinary gift!
GRADE 3 FIRST RECONCILIATION
Third graders will make the Sacrament on Friday evening, December 15, 2023.
(call time is 6:25pm SHARP)
There will be a short service involving Catechists, the Director, the Pastor, and the students. Individual student First Confessions will follow.

Our First Reconciliation on Friday evening, December 15, 2023 will begin at 6:30pm sharp in the Church. Dress code is
Smart Casual. Student will arrive between 6:20 and 6:25pm please.
The student will check in with their their teacher and sit with their class during a brief Prayer Service. Families are

Our First Reconciliation on Friday evening, December 15, 2023 will begin at 6:30pm sharp in the Church. Dress code is
Smart Casual. Student will arrive between 6:20 and 6:25pm please.
The student will check in with their their teacher and sit with their class during a brief Prayer Service. Families are asked to remain silent. Your teacher will then take two students to wait their turn together at the door of the confessional. Parent(s) will remain seated. When the student has completed their reconciliation and penance, the entire family may leave quietly or parents may wait until the entire class has received their First Reconciliation, and then go to confession. We hope you will help us keep a quiet, reverent, and safe Sacrament! NO PHOTOS ARE PERMITTED.
